Yes, use Git, backups, containers and restricted permissions.

Good practice. Containers reduce exposure but do not produce an independent timeline or demonstrate that isolation held.
Recording does not prevent damage.
Correct. It is a witness, not a sandbox or permission system. It cannot stop a harmful action; it protects the record of what happened and the successfully preserved versions of protected files.
My AI keeps a chat history.
Chat history shows what you asked and what the model said. It does not show every command, file operation, tool call or system change that followed.
Does it restore deleted files?
GhostLogic can restore successfully preserved versions of protected files. It cannot restore files that were never selected, captured or fully replicated before loss. Keep backups, Git and snapshots for everything outside the protected selection.

What storage capacities exist?
32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. Capacity determines how much sealed activity history the recorder retains; every option is shown at checkout.
Will it slow my computer down?
The recorder service is designed to run in the background with minimal impact. It records supported activity events; it is not a screen recorder and does not scan or copy your files in bulk.
Can one recorder cover several computers?
No. Each Flight Recorder cryptographically pairs with one authorized computer.
What happens if I unplug it?
The interruption is detected and recorded. The missing period affects the continuity assessment.
How do I know the record itself is intact?
Events are hash-chained as they are sealed, and TICS scores timestamp continuity, recording gaps, clock changes and evidence-chain integrity before the record is treated as reliable.
